POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Mar 9, 2022 : 26 stranded Bangladeshi sailors return home from Bucharest, Romania They returned to the country on a Turkish Airlines flight after 12 noon on Wednesday. Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport Executive Director Group Captain AHM Touhid ul Ahsan confirmed the matter.
Earlier, they left Bucharest, the capital of Romania, at 2:15 pm on Tuesday
Their flight landed in Dhaka today via Istanbul-Dubai.
These 26 sailors were working for the prosperity of Bengal. The bomber struck shortly after noon in the Ukrainian port of Alvia. At the same time Hadisur Rahman, the third engineer of the ship died.
Hadisur Rahman’s body has some process left to return to the country. It is not possible to bring them together. His body will be brought back to the country soon after completing the process.
