POBNEWS24, Dhaka, July 27, 2022 : 30 thousand 782 pilgrims returned home from Saudi Arabia after Hajj. They returned home in 84 return flights in the last 13 days. This information was obtained from the daily bulletin of the IT Help Desk of the Ministry of Religious Affairs on Monday (July 25).
According to the bulletin, a total of 30,782 pilgrims have returned to the country in 84 flights in the last 13 days.
Among them, there are 41 flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, 38 flights of Saudi Airlines and five flights of Flynas Airlines. The return flight will end on August 4.
Hajj was held in Saudi Arabia on July 8. 60 thousand 146 pilgrims went from Bangladesh to Saudi Arabia in 165 flights from June 5 to July 5. After that, the return flight of pilgrims started from July 14.
A total of 23 pilgrims have died in Saudi Arabia so far. Among them 16 are male and 7 are female. Among them, 19 died in Makkah, three in Medina and one in Jeddah.
