POBNEWS24 Dhaka Dec 8, 2023 : Customs authorities detained four people along with 280 gold bars at Osmani International Airport in Sylhet. These gold bars were seized from BG 248 flight on Friday (December 8) morning.
According to airport sources, 280 gold bars and six gold balls were seized from Bangladesh Biman flight BG 248 from Dubai at 8:53 am on Friday. The weight of these gold is 34 kg 351 grams. At that time, nine people, including children and women, were detained and interrogated. Four people were later arrested.
Manager of Osmani International Airport Hafiz Uddin Ahmad told Jago News that some people including Sona Robber have been arrested and interrogation is going on. I have not received the details yet.
