POBNEWS24, Dhaka Aug 7, 2024 : Bangladesh President Md. Sahabuddin ordered to take necessary steps to ensure that every member of the police can perform their duties with high morale and bravery while maintaining the chain of command.
The newly appointed Inspector General of Police Md. Moinul Islam went to meet the President at Bangabhaban today and the President gave this order. Congratulating the new Inspector General of Police, President Md. Sahabuddin said the role of police is very important in maintaining law and order in the country and ensuring the safety of people’s life and property.
He said that in the prevailing situation, normalization of law and order in the country is most important and the police should do this work. President Md Sahabuddin ordered the police to take strict action to stop any anarchic situation and looting. President’s Office Secretary Md. Wahidul Islam Khan, Military Secretary Major General Md. Adil Chowdhury and Press Secretary Md. Zainal Abedin were present at the time.
