POBNEWS24, Dhaka Apr 10, 2021:AKM Rafiq Ahmed, director general of the environment department, died after being infected with Kovid-19. (Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun). He died at Rajarbagh Central Police Hospital around 4:15 am on Saturday. Deputy Director of the Department (Administration) said. Khaled Hasan said this in the first light.
Khaled Hasan said he died at 4:14 am today. He was admitted to the police hospital on March 23. She is then placed in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). He has to give life support on Friday. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
Khaled Hasan further said that the body of Rafiq Ahmed will be taken to the central office of the environment department in Agargaon at 10 am. After the janaza, his body will be taken to Chittagong for burial.
AKM Mizanur Rahman, deputy secretary of the local government department, also announced his death on his Facebook status.
