POBNEWS24, Dhaka Jan 21, 2025 : In his first speech, the new US President Donald Trump said that America’s golden age begins now. He told former Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Joe Biden, among other guests present at the event, that from today our country will be prosperous and respected. I will simply put America first.
In his speech, Trump promised to restore American sovereignty, increase security, and establish justice. He claimed to end the “barbaric, violent, and unjust weaponization of the American judiciary” and make the country a proud, prosperous, and free nation.
He said America would soon become “bigger, stronger and more exceptional than ever before.”
In his first speech, Trump criticized the Biden administration and its handling of the immigration crisis, saying the United States was facing a “crisis of trust in irrational and corrupt institutions.”
He alleged that the previous administration provided security and protection to “dangerous criminals” who entered the United States illegally. Trump said, “We have a government that cannot even handle a simple crisis.”
He also spoke about the hurricane in North Carolina and the wildfires in Los Angeles. He said the fires have affected some of the richest and most powerful, some of whom are here.
Criticizing the country’s past health and education systems, the new president said, “Our health system is not effective during disasters, but we spend more on it than any other country in the world.”
At the end of Trump’s speech, he said, “All of this will change, starting today and very quickly.”
