POBNEWS24 Dhaka, June 1, 2021: When the whole world is in trouble due to Covid-19, renowned singers from Bangladesh and India performed a song to motivate the people of the two countries for keeping their morale high amid the pandemic.
The singers made the video from their respective residences.
A singer from Netherlands played violin apart from local singers.
Kabir Bakul, a Bangladeshi, was lyricist of the Bangla song.
The Indian singers included Raghob Chattapadhya, Joy Sarker and Usha Uthup, while singers Tapan Chowdhury, Kumar Bishwajit and Chandan Sinha were from Bangladesh.
Private TV channels, including state-run BTV, in Bangladesh are now telecasting the song as part of awareness campaign.
In a reaction, Raghob Chatterjee termed the song excellent, saying that the song, which is symbol of courage and cordiality, would bind the people of the two countries to friendly relations.
Kabir Bakul said, the people of the two countries have been united amid the global pandemic.
Members of the Civil Society, including Monjurul Ahsan Bulbul, former president of BFUJ, here observed that awareness would further increase if the TV channels in Indian West Bengal state take step to telecast the song.
