India ready to provide medical assistance including visas to those injured in plane crash

POBNEWS24, Dhaka July 22, 2025 : India has expressed its interest in providing all possible assistance to those injured in the plane crash at Milestone School and College in Bangladesh. In the wake of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s condolence message, the Indian High Commission in Dhaka officially wrote to the Bangladesh government on Tuesday (July 22). The Indian High Commission in Dhaka confirmed the matter. However, no statement was received from Bangladesh in response to the letter till the time of writing this report.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences over the tragic accident and assured all possible assistance. In that vein, the letter has been formally sent requesting the Bangladesh government to provide us with the necessary information if any specialized medical assistance from India is required for the seriously injured.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep grief over the loss of life in the plane crash at Milestone School and College on Monday. He expressed solidarity with Bangladesh in this tragic accident and assured all possible assistance from India.
In his condolence message, Modi said, “Deeply shocked and saddened by the loss of lives in a tragic plane crash in Dhaka. Many of the deceased were young students. Our hearts go out to the families. We wish the injured a speedy recovery.”
