Victim alleges that Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar’s grandson has kidnapped two foreign women and embezzled lakhs of dollars?

One of the victims is a resident of the Netherlands and one of Venezuela. They had gone to Pakistan on business. They were allegedly kidnapped and raped in Lahore.

POBNEWS24, Desk report Dhaka Jul 5, 2026 : Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar’s grandson, Raja Dar, has been accused of kidnapping foreign women and embezzling one lakh dollars in cryptocurrency. It is also alleged that the foreign women were gang-raped.

Recently, one of the victims recorded a statement in a Pakistani court. With that, Raja’s name came to light. Raja has been arrested by the Pakistani police. It is being claimed in the Pakistani media that he is the grandson of the Deputy Prime Minister. Although the minister himself has not commented on this yet. The police have not officially said anything about the minister’s relationship with the accused.

One of the victims is a resident of the Netherlands and one of Venezuela. They came to Pakistan on business. They had previous contacts with Raja. He was the one who arranged the business visas for the two young women to come to Pakistan. Allegedly, two people were kidnapped and gang-raped from Lahore on June 29. So far, the police have arrested four people including Raja. One person is missing. They have been sent to five-day police custody by a Pakistani court.

According to the victim’s statement published in Pakistani media ARI News, the accused raided their house with weapons. They were locked in a room and demanded one lakh US dollars in cryptocurrency. It is alleged that they took away their computers and started making money transactions. The victim claims that she was hit hard on the head. Both of them were also threatened with death if they did not get the money. Accused Raja took away the mobile phone of one of them. They asked friends for money in his name. Eventually, the money was settled.
