50 bodies have been recovered from the fire at Rupganj in Bangladesh
POBNEWS24, Dhaka Jul 9, 2021 : Bodies are being brought out one by one from inside the factory 19 hours after the fire incident at Rupganj in Narayanganj near capital city of Dhaka. 50 burnt bodies have already been recovered and the bodies are being taken to the morgue by three fire service ambulances.
Earlier, news of three deaths could be confirmed. At least 50 people were injured.
The fire was not under control until the report was written at 2.30pm on Friday (July 9). No one in charge has said how many bodies are inside.
Rupganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shah Nusrat Jahan said 48 bodies had already been sent to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue by four fire service ambulances. The fire service will tell you how many bodies are inside.
A fire broke out at Hashem Food and Beverages, a subsidiary of Sajib Group, in Rupganj after 5:30 pm on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the relatives of the workers are searching for their relatives outside the factory. There is fear among them.
