POBNEWS24, Dhaka Jul 19, 2021 : BNP chairperson and Former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia has received the coronavirus vaccine. She was vaccinated at Sheikh Russell National Gastroliver Institute and Hospital in Mohakhali on Monday (July 19) at 2.30 pm.
BNP chairperson’s media wing member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the information to POBNEWS24. On July 12, Khaleda Zia registered for the vaccine on the Ministry of Health’s ‘Suraksha’ website. On Sunday (July 18) her ticker SMS came.
BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku, Zahir Uddin Swapan, Dhaka North BNP leader Jahangir, Tabit Awal and Khaleda Zia’s personal officials were present at the time.
On July 8, Khaleda Zia registered for the coronavirus vaccine through the ‘Suraksha’ app. There, Sheikh Russell of Mohakhali said she wanted to get vaccinated at the National Gastroliver Institute and Hospital Center. Later, however, BNP leaders demanded that vaccinations be arranged at home.
