POBNEWS24, Dhaka Nov 5, 2021 :Iran is in talks with world powers over a nuclear deal. The meeting will be held on November 29 in Vienna, the capital of Austria. The European Union’s (EU) External Action Service said in a statement on Wednesday. News Reuters.
The joint statement of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) will take part in the meeting in Vienna, the EU statement said. Enrique Mora will chair the talks on behalf of EU foreign policy chief Joseph Borel.
The United States has also expressed interest in participating in talks on a nuclear deal. However, the country has given conditions. The US administration has said it will move forward only if it curbs Iran’s nuclear program, which began in the face of US sanctions. They say the deal is possible only if Iran is sincere. In 2016, then-US President Donald Trump withdrew from the Iran nuclear deal.
Ali Bagheri, Iran’s deputy foreign minister, confirmed the deal. He will lead Iran in the upcoming nuclear talks. In a tweet, he said the date for a phone conversation with Enrique Mora had been fixed.
“We have agreed to hold talks in Vienna on November 298 to lift the unethical and inhumane sanctions on Iran,” Ali Bagheri tweeted.
The European Union (EU) said in a statement that Britain, China, France, Germany and Russia would take part in the talks later this month. The possibility of a U.S. return will be discussed at the JCPOA. As well as talking to ensure the implementation of the nuclear deal with the consent of all parties.
