POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Nov 8, 2021 :The BNP has called for a two-day nationwide protest against the hike in public transport fares. The party will hold this program on November 10 and 12.
The party’s secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the program at a joint human chain organized by Dhaka Metropolitan North and South BNP in front of the National Press Club on Monday.
He said the protests would be held on November 10 in metropolitan cities across the country except Dhaka and on November 12 in district cities in protest of rising fuel prices and bus fares.
