POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Nov 15, 2021: Election meeting and dinner of Awami League nominated candidates has been organized at college ground in Dhunat upazila of Bogra. This has angered the parents and students of the educational institution. These were organized at Gosaibari Degree College on Saturday afternoon.
According to local sources, in the third phase, elections will be held in 10 Union Parishads (UPs) of Dhunat Upazila. In this election, Shamsul Bari Sheikh is the chairman candidate of Gosaibari Union. An election meeting was organized at Gosaibari Degree College on Saturday morning in his support. At around 10 in the morning, the students came to take classes in the college and went back to see the stage in the field. Due to this the attendance of students in the class also decreases. Since there is no electricity from 8 am to 3 pm, electricity is provided through generators. As a result, reading is interrupted by the sound of the generator.
The gathering of the party leaders and workers on the stage built on the college grounds, the sound of the mic, the cooking on the verandah of the college created a chaotic situation. For this reason, college leave was given around 12 noon.
In this regard, Awami League chairman candidate Shamsul Bari Sheikh told Prothom Alo in Gosaibari UP election , ‘I have been given a boat symbol in the election. That is why the leaders and workers of the party have united and organized the rally. So a little dal-rice is arranged for them in the afternoon. It can’t be called a feast. ‘
