POBNEWS24, Dhaka Dec 1, 2021 : Two cows have died after being hit by a Biman Bangladesh Airlines plane on the runway at Cox’s Bazar Airport. The incident took place at around 6 pm on Tuesday while the plane was taking off in front of the Delta Post No. 16 on the runway. The plane was going to Dhaka from Cox’s Bazar.
It was not immediately clear who owned the two cows. The matter was confirmed by the commander of the 14th Armed Police Battalion (APBN) in charge of airport security and Superintendent of Police. Naimul Haque. He said that at around 5:55 pm, Biman Bangladesh Airlines Flight (BG 434 Boeing) was flying in front of Delta Post No. 16 on the runway when it hit the right wing of the aircraft and two cows died on the spot. However, the plane successfully flew to Dhaka. It flew two more aircraft (NovoAir and US Bangla).
