POBNEWS24, Dhaka Dec 2, 2021 : Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has urged the students to return to their educational institutions, saying it was not their job to vandalize vehicles. Members of the law enforcement agencies are continuing their efforts to bring the perpetrators under control.

Sheikh Hasina made the remarks while addressing a function at Bangladesh Shishu Academy on Wednesday morning to lay the foundation stone for a mural of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and a 12-storey state-of-the-art ‘Jayita Tower’ for women entrepreneurs in Dhanmondi.

The Prime Minister participated in the main event organized by the Ministry of Women and Children at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital through a video conference from her official residence Ganobhaban.

Mentioning that today’s children have to work for the country in the future after learning to read and write, the Prime Minister said, “It is not the job of the students to break the car down the road. Please go back to your educational institution and study. And those who are guilty must be punished. ‘ He added that the law enforcement agencies are very careful in this regard. The culprits have been identified immediately. There is also video footage of everything else.

Sheikh Hasina said those who will cause vandalism and arson in the future will be found out and punished. Because, if someone dies or burns in the car that is being set on fire, he will be severely punished. This should also be kept in mind.

He also directed to properly investigate the incident of pedestrian being killed in a garbage truck of Dhaka North and South City Corporation.

State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Begum Fazilatun Nesa Indira presided over the ceremony. Saidul Islam delivered the speech. Chairperson of Bangladesh Shishu Academy Lucky Inam and Managing Director of Jayita Foundation Afroza Khan also spoke.

The event also featured two video images of the Father of the Nation mural and Jayita Tower.

The Prime Minister mentioned that today’s children will be the leaders in building a prosperous and prosperous Bangladesh in 2041. “It applies to everyone, you have to be careful while walking on the road, you have to obey the traffic laws,” he said.

Sheikh Hasina said, ‘So I will say, no one will take the law into their own hands. And I will tell the drivers, they also have to drive carefully. ‘

The Prime Minister advised the students to use their time and work for the country and the people of the country by building themselves in the future.

Referring to the recent death of a Notre Dame College student in the Dhaka South City Corporation’s garbage truck in the capital, the Prime Minister said, “What is the secret behind this?” Died in the south, died the next day in the north, what is the reason? We have to find out the reason for this. Sheikh Hasina instructed the concerned persons to check whether those who drive dirty cars have the skills to drive a car. Source: Bass.
