POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Dec 20, 2021: Sajeeb Wazed Joy, IT adviser to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, said Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman laid the foundation for Bangladesh’s progress. Now Bangabandhu Kanya Jannetri Sheikh Hasina is taking that country forward. He wrote this in a Facebook post on Sunday (December 19) night.

Sajeeb Wazed Joy wrote in a Facebook post, Bangladesh is celebrating the golden jubilee (50 years) of victory in 2021. In these 50 years of independent Bangladesh, the Awami League government has got the opportunity to work for the country in less than half of the time.

He said Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had rebuilt a war-torn country in just three and a half years after gaining much desired independence through bloody victory in the war of liberation. Whenever he was on the path of building a self-sufficient Bangladesh by exploiting the meager resources and human resources of Bangladesh, he was killed along with his family by the anti-independence clique of Bangladesh. After that, it is a far cry to improve Bangladesh under the misrule of dictators, the country is again plunged into an abysmal darkness.

He added that the Awami League government came to power again in 1996 with the mandate of the people in the belief of building Bangladesh out of that predicament, strengthening the fragile economy of the country. Then again in 2001 the anti-independence BNP-Jamaat alliance came to power. The war criminals involved in the 1971 genocide and rape became ministers in Bangladesh. During the misrule of BNP-Jamaat, Bangladesh became champion in corruption five times in a row. Hawa Bhaban became the epicenter of terrorism, corruption and misrule in Bangladesh.

Later, in the 2008 elections, the Awami League-led grand alliance government came to power in the hope of building a digital Bangladesh. Before that election, the Awami League had announced in their election manifesto to build a digital Bangladesh. Today, Bangladesh Awami League is taking the country forward by achieving that digital Bangladesh.

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman laid the foundation of Bangladesh’s progress – now the daughter of Bangabandhu Sheikh Hasina is leading that country This album highlights some of the significant achievements of the Awami League government in improving the country’s economy, health protection, growth, and people’s living standards.
