POBNEWS24, Dhaka, 10, 2022: Police in Karukachal town of Kerala’s Kottayam district in India have arrested a man and taken six others into custody for allegedly being part of a racket involved in the exchange of partners for sexual activities. The racket operated through social media platforms, such as Facebook and Telegram.According to the police, a woman had lodged a complaint against her husband, accusing her husband of presenting her to his online friends for such activities. The police, after receiving the complaint, sprang up in action and arrested her husband, who is a gulf returnee. Subsequently, a network of exchange of partners for sex was uncovered.
The police found social media groups offering their members opportunities to indulge in wife swapping, cuckolding, threesomes and unnatural sex, according to a report published by The Times of India. Some groups had over 5,000 members. Many professionals, such as lawyers and doctors, had joined these groups using fake identities. Many people, including women, voluntarily participated in such sexual activities. Some women, however, were forced into such activities by their husbands. Source INS
