POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Mar 10, 2022 : The government has decided to appoint Nazmul Islam, the current Ambassador of Bangladesh to Sweden, as the next Ambassador of Bangladesh to Oman. The foreign ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
Nazmul Islam started his diplomatic career by joining the 15th BCS Foreign Service. He has served as Consul General in Jeddah, Beijing.
He has also played important roles in Bangladesh missions in London and Jakarta. He has also served as the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering (BUET).
