POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Apr 11, 2022 : In the ranking of Simago Institution of Spain, among all the public universities of Bangladesh, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University has again achieved the first position for the second time in the index of Agriculture, Biological Science and Research by international standards. The data came from a survey conducted by Simago Institution in a study of 4,126 universities in different countries of the world.
The report of the survey was published on Saturday. Achieving the first place in the public university of Bangladesh, the vice-chancellor of the university, Prof. Md. Ghiyasuddin Mia congratulated all the teachers, students, officers and staff of the educational institution for their tireless efforts in conducting educational activities, conducting research of international standard and in the activities related to achieving this recognition.
At the same time, the agri-friendly government, especially Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina; Ministry of Education The University of Bangladesh is grateful for the cooperation of the Grants Commission and all others. He hopes that the success of this university will continue to grow.
Note that Spain-based Simago Institutions Ranking is an international ranking organization. The institute publishes an annual ranking of educational and research institutions for contributions to scopus science research, owned by Simago Lab and Elsevier, the world’s largest scientific publisher. All organizations that have published at least 100 studies in the Scopus database are considered for this ranking.
