He thanked the United States for supporting the UN General Assembly resolution on the humanitarian situation of Myanmar’s Muslims and other minorities, and for recognizing the genocide of the Rohingya by President Biden’s administration. He said the Indo-Pacific Strategy is an important initiative in Asia and the Pacific. He hoped that Bangladesh and the United States would work together to establish peace in the region and create a conducive environment for all countries.
