POBNEWS24, Dhaka May 18, 2022 : POB News24 published an interview of Biman Basu, former general secretary of West Bengal unit of Community Party of India (M), after PK Halder was arrested from Ashoknagar in Indian West Bengal state.
Following publication of his interview, Biman Basu in his reaction said that he did not say anything about the issue and he was misquoted in the interview. He was displeased and hurt seeing the news quoting him.
The Daily Ganashakti, a Kolkata-based bangla daily, on May 17 published the news on its second page.
Biman Basu, is a senior leader of CPI (M) and much older in age. His memory does not work well at this age.
