Donald Trump supporters are speaking out after the FBI raided Trump’s Florida home. Many are backing the former president’s claim that the FBI probe is part of a Democratic strategy to prevent Trump from running for re-election.
Republican strategist Seth Weathers is among the leaders who have come out in support of Trump.
He called the FBI raid on Trump’s Florida home ‘truly, incredibly outrageous’.
Speaking to the BBC, Weathers said he believed it had set a precedent that would be very difficult to reverse.

President Joe Biden has tried to distance himself from the judiciary. A White House official said he was given no advance notice of Monday evening’s FBI search.
Meanwhile, the Republican National Committee (RNC) is reportedly trying to use the furor over the FBI search of Trump’s residence as a fundraising campaign for the party’s candidates.
