POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Aug 14, 2022: Aamir Khan’s ‘Lal Singh Chadha’ earns marginally at the box office on its third day of release in India. The movie grossed around Rs 9 crore at the box office on Saturday. As a result, the three-day gross of the movie stands at around Rs 27.21 crore.
A report by boxofficeindia.com said that the movie was expected to grow by at least 40 percent on Saturday, but managed to increase by 20 percent at the box office.
The report also stated that the revenue from Delhi-Uttar Pradesh and East Punjab contributed around 40 percent of the movie’s total business. On the contrary, Maharashtra-Gujarat showed a completely opposite picture!
Lal Singh Chadha, the official remake of Tom Hanks’ world famous movie Forrest Gump, stars Bollywood’s top actress Kareena Kapoor opposite Aamir Khan and marks the Bollywood debut of southern star Naga Chaitanya. The movie is directed by ‘Secret Superstar’ fame Advait Chandan and its story is written by Atul Kulkarni. A section of Indian netizens have demanded to boycott the movie even before its release.
