POBNEWS24, Dhaka Aug 20 2022 : A fire broke out in a factory in Keraniganj Bisik Shilpa Nagar. 5 units of fire service are working to control the fire.
Fire service control room duty officer Ershad Hossain said that the fire broke out on Friday (August 19) at 11:35 PM.
He said that there was a fire in a factory in Keraniganj Bisik Industrial City.
After the fire broke out at 11:35 pm, 5 units of fire service are working to control the fire. However, initially the fire service official could not give any information about the cause of the fire and casualties.
Mohammad Farooq, in-charge of Keraniganj Fire Station, told Kal Kantha from the scene at 1:20 p.m. that no casualties have been reported so far. The fire on the ground floor of the printing factory has been brought under control, 5 units are working to control the fire on the second floor.
When asked whether people were working inside when the fire broke out, he said, “I cannot say at this moment.” It will take some time to learn things.
Besides, he said that the cause of the fire and the amount of damage will be known after the fire is under control.
