POBNEWS24, Dhaka Sep 1, 2022 : CNN recently published a report based on people’s culinary talent and passion for food in the Asian region. There, the name of Fuchka of Bangladesh has appeared in the list of the 50 best street foods in Asia.
A little sweet, a little sour, a little spicy, Fuchka (Bangladeshi Fuchka known as Panipuri, Gol Gappa, Gupchup in India) is one of the most popular street foods in Bangladesh, according to the CNN report.
The crunchy, hollow round puffs are usually filled with potato, freshly chopped onion, cucumber, coriander, green chillies, lemon and a mix of spices.
Before serving, the vendors cut the boiled eggs on the fuchka. Fuchkar also gives a cup of tamarind water to be taken internally. Sweet, sour and spicy tamarind water will enhance your taste.
