POBNEWS24, Dhaka Dec 19, 2022 : On the occasion of the final game of World Cup football, the supporters of Argentina organized a feast by slaughtering a cow in Kotalipara upazila of Gopalganj. On Sunday (December 18), this feast is being organized at the KM Chand Mia Public Library and Sporting Club premises organized by the supporters of Argentina in Pavanapar village of Kushala Union of the upazila.
On the occasion of this event, Argentina supporters from around Pavanpar village gathered at KM Chand Mia Public Library and Sporting Club premises and played music and cheered.
Apart from this, a feast has been organized by the supporters of Argentina in different areas of the upazila.
Clubs in various areas have installed big screens to watch club games. In addition to clubs, organizations, home-to-house arrangements are being made for better food.
Advocate Taijul Islam, a supporter of Argentina in the upazila’s Pabnapar village, said, ‘We have organized a feast for the final match of the Argentina supporter group. For this we bought a cow for 73 thousand taka. Apart from those of us who are supporters of Argentina, meals have been organized for the orphans. ‘
Marjan Rahman Mahin, an Argentinian child supporter from Kurpala village, said, ‘On the occasion of the final game, my mother has organized meat-polao for me. Argentina will take the cup this year. ‘
Badsha Mahmud, a supporter of Argentina from Gachapara village in the upazila, said, ‘We have organized a meal for 1000 people on the occasion of the final game of Argentina. Here we will watch the game on the big screen. Only those who come here to watch the game will be fed. ‘
