POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Jan 20, 2023 : Srimangal of Moulvibazar recorded a temperature of 5.6 degrees Celsius. This is the lowest temperature in the entire country this season.
Anisur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Srimangal Meteorological Office, confirmed this information at 9 am on Friday (January 20).
Anisur said, ‘Today the minimum temperature of the country was recorded at 5.6 degrees Celsius. The previous day on Thursday 6.5 degrees Celsius and Wednesday 7.3 degrees Celsius temperature was recorded.
Meanwhile, Moulvibazar District Commissioner Mir Nahid Ahsan said that a total of 35 thousand 280 blankets have been allocated in the district for winter. Meanwhile, the blankets have been distributed among the downtrodden, day laborers and helpless people of seven upazilas of the district. Apart from this, the demand for more blankets has been given, said the Deputy Commissioner.
