POBNEWS24,Dhaka, Mar 2, 2023 : Additional IGP M Khursheed Hossain, Director General (DG) of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) said, ‘Due to lack of coordination, two militants were abducted from the court premises. We must have failed in the case of abducting two militants.’
He said this to reporters after paying tribute to the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at 32 Dhanmondi in the capital on Thursday morning (March 2).
RAB Director General said, ‘I am not telling the police alone. Everyone was supposed to have a coordination with the police. There was a lack of coordination somewhere. Due to a lack of coordination, there was a lack of information in places where the people were supposed to be, or when the militants fled. That is why such an incident happened.’
He said, ‘I believe we are ready to face any challenge. We want to continue the development of our country. Senior officers of RAB were present at this time.
