POBNEWS24, Dhaka , Mar 8, 2023 : Holy Shabbat today. Devoted Muslims will observe the holy Shabbat through Nafal Ibadat-Bandegi, seeking the mercy of the great Rabbul A’lamin at night with due religious dignity.
The night of the 14th day of the month of Shaban of the Hijri year is a holy night for devout Muslims. On this night, in the hope of gaining God’s mercy and closeness, they perform various acts of worship including nafal namaz, recitation of the Qur’an, and dhikr.

The President said in his speech, the noble ideals of Islam are our path for the welfare of people in this time and liberation in the hereafter. On this night of Shaba Barat, we pray for the infinite mercy and blessings of Almighty Allah as well as for the country’s continued progress, welfare and greater unity of the Muslim fraternity.
In his speech, the Prime Minister urged everyone to devote themselves to the work of human welfare and nation building, inspired by the greatness of the holy Sabbath.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of Shabbat Barat, Islamic Foundation has organized programs including Waj, Doa Mahfil, Holy Quran Recitation, Hamd-Naat at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque today.
