POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Mar 25, 2022 : Abhishek Chatterjee, a popular actor from Upper Bengal, migrated to the land of no return. He died at the age of 56. Kolkata-based media Anandabazar claimed that the actor had suffered a heart attack during the shooting. Besides, Abhishek has been suffering from stomach problems for the last two-three days.
He fell ill while attending a reality show on Wednesday.
According to Zee News Bangla, he did not agree to go to the hospital even though he felt sick on the reality show. Another Tollywood actor Bharat Kal said, ‘Abhishek fell ill with food poisoning on Tuesday. In that situation, after shooting for a while, he was taken home. He also came to shoot the reality show ‘Smart Pair’ of Star Jalsa on Wednesday. That’s where the pressure suddenly drops to 70. ‘
Actor Bharat Kal added, ‘Abhishek was given black coffee as soon as he felt sick. He returned to his home from the show at about half past noon. That was our last meeting. Abhishek died at his home around 1:10 pm on Wednesday. Kolkata media also reported that he was being pushed saline at home. This untimely demise of Abhishek has cast a shadow of mourning over Tollywood.
