POBNEWS24, Sep 14, 2021 :After a 10-day break, the adjourned sitting of Parliament will resume on Tuesday (September 14). The sitting of the parliament is scheduled to start at 11 am.
However, today’s meeting will be adjourned after accepting the condolence motion on the death of Professor Masuda M Rashid Chowdhury, Member of Parliament for the reserved women’s seat in Japan. The session, which began on September 1, was adjourned twice due to the deaths of two MPs. The first day’s meeting was adjourned on the death of MP Prof Ali Ashraf and the next day on September 2 after the death of Hasibur Rahman Swapan.
Although the current session is scheduled to end on September 4 with only four working days, it has to be extended due to the two-day mourning motion in Parliament. In addition, the speaker was scheduled to travel to Austria on September 5 to attend three international conferences.
