POBNEWS24, Dhaka, June 12, 2022: All coaching centers in the country will be closed for three weeks, said the Minister of Education. Dipu Moni. He made the remarks after a meeting of the National Monitoring and Law and Order Committee at the Ministry of Education on Sunday (June 12).
The education minister said the coaching centers would be closed for the next three weeks from June 15 for SSC-equivalent examinations. The test will start on June 19 and will continue till July 7.
Dipu Moni said, 20 lakh 21 thousand 6 students will sit for SSC-equivalent examination this year. The test will be held at 3,690 centers across the country.
He said that this year there are 15 lakh 99 thousand 611 candidates under 9 general boards. Apart from this, two lakh 8 thousand 495 candidates will take part in Dakhil and one lakh 83 thousand 72 candidates will take part in SSC and Dakhil Vocational under Technical Education Board.
