POBNEWS24, Dhaka Mar 1, 2021:In the current Corona situation, passengers from all European countries except the United Kingdom and 12 other countries have been banned from entering Bangladesh. The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said in a statement on Wednesday.
The countries from which the ban has been imposed include Europe, Argentina, Bahrain, Brazil, Chile, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Peru, Qatar, South Africa, Turkey and Uruguay.
This decision will be effective from April 3. It will remain in force till April 18.
The notice, signed by Group Captain M Zia ul Kabir, a member of Bebichak’s Flight Standards and Regulations, said the PCR-based Covid-19 negative certificate must be shown at the time of entry into Bangladesh and upon arrival at the airport. This test must be completed within 72 hours of flight departure.
