POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Mar 9, 2022 : Four Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) have been signed between Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates to enhance cooperation. The MoUs were signed after a bilateral meeting at the Dubai Exhibition Center on Tuesday (March 6th) local time. It was signed by the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina and the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The four MoUs are between Bangladesh and the UAE on cooperation in higher education and scientific research, between the Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS) and the UAE Center for Strategic Studies and Research (ISR).

The Foreign Ministers of Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the Foreign Secretaries of the two countries signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Foreign Services Academy.
In addition, the two directors general of BIISS and ECSSR of the two countries signed a memorandum of understanding. The President of the FBCCI and the Head of the Dubai Chamber signed the remaining Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of their respective countries.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left for the UAE on a five-day official visit on Monday (March 6) evening. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, was invited.
