POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Mar 7, 2022 : Awami League joint general secretary Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif said Bangladesh’s position on the Russia-Ukraine war is very logical. It would not be appropriate to take any side by pouring. On the contrary, the BNP’s political statement on this issue was not reasonable.
He said this after a meeting of the leaders of Comilla South District Committee with the leaders in charge of Chittagong division at the central office of Awami League on Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital on Sunday.
Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif said the BNP was trying to destabilize the situation knowing it could not win the election. This party has not done anything that people will vote for BNP in the next elections.
Claiming that the BNP was trying to gain political advantage by making misleading and provocative statements about commodity prices, the joint general secretary of the Awami League said that the rise in commodity prices in the country was due to the rise in prices in the international market. However, the government has taken strict measures to control the situation. The government is aware that no one can manipulate the market. But BNP is giving unreasonable political statement about this.
