POBNEWS24, Desk Report, Feb 3, 2022 : President. Chief Justice Hasan Fayez Siddiqui paid a courtesy call on Abdul Hamid. The courtesy call was held between them at Bangabhaban on Thursday evening.
During the meeting, the Chief Justice briefed the President on various activities of the Supreme Court, especially the operation of virtual courts during the Corona period.

The President congratulated the newly appointed Chief Justice and said that the judiciary was the last refuge for the people to get justice. The judiciary must continue its efforts to ensure that candidates seek justice without any harassment.
He hoped that under the leadership of the newly appointed Chief Justice, the judiciary would be able to meet the expectations of the people through speedy execution of justice.
