POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Aug 14,2021: The Bangladesh Aware Citizens Committee has called for a stand against Pakistan-backed terrorism, militancy and extremism.
The call was made at a protest rally in front of the Pakistan High Commission in Gulshan on Saturday (August 14th) morning.
The Bangladesh Aware Citizens Committee organized the protest rally in protest of Pakistan’s continued terrorism and militancy.
Convener of the committee chaired by freedom fighter Professor. Nimchandra Bhowmik.
Freedom fighter Salauddin Ahmed, journalist Basudeb Dhar, Nirmal Rosario, Ishaq Khan, Motilal Roy and Mohammad Shafiqul Islam spoke. Similar demonstrations have been held in different parts of the country on this day.
Speakers at the rally said that after the defeat of Pakistan in the liberation war in 1971, conspiracies were being hatched in Bangladesh and South East Asia.
The assassination of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family is part of this plan. Now it is aiding the militants in Afghanistan, provoking the situation in Kashmir.
Pakistan’s goal is to destabilize the entire subcontinent.
