POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Apr 1, 2022 : MBBS first year admission test of 2021-22 academic year has been held in government and private medical colleges of the country. Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Malek said there was no chance of leaking question papers due to the use of modern technology in controlling admission tests.

After inspecting the examination center at Kala Bhaban of Dhaka University on Friday (April 1), the health minister said, “We take the admission test of medical colleges very carefully.” We use modern technology in this test.

The minister said, “We have digitally tracked the vehicles that have been questioned in the centers.” Sitting in the office of the Director General (DG) we can see where the car is going, stopping or leaving. The box in which the question is taken, even if the box is opened, it is understood that this box is now being opened or closed.

“We have taken all kinds of precautions for safety,” he said. Police and RAB are on duty here. We are also monitoring Facebook and WhatsApp. We have already arrested two of them. Legal action is being taken against them. Hopefully nothing bad will happen. We are careful.

“I went to one or two halls,” he added. The test went well. I talked to the students, they said the question has become standard. Hopefully the test will end smoothly and nicely.

During the visit, among others, the Director General of the Department of Health, Prof. Dr. was present. ABM Khurshid Alam, Director of the Department of Health Education (Medical Branch) Professor. AKM Ahsan Habib, Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Md. Samad, former secretary of the Department of Health Education. Ali Nur, Dhaka Medical College Principal Prof. Titu Mia, Director of Dhaka Medical College Hospital Brie. General Nazmul Haque.

This year, a record number of students have taken part in the history of medical college admission test. This time a total of one lakh 43 thousand 630 students have taken part in the examination. The total number of seats in government medical colleges across the country is four thousand 350. As such, more than 33 candidates are contesting for each seat.
