Eid-ul-Azha is associated with the culmination of extreme sacrifice and love of God. Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) set an excellent example of unconditional love, unwavering obedience and infinite self-sacrifice by sacrificing his son Hazrat Ishmael (peace be upon him) at the behest of Allah Almighty.
“Sacrifice instills in us a spirit of self-sacrifice and self-sacrifice, and teaches us the spirit of sharing happiness and sorrow with relatives and neighbors,” he said. ‘

He called upon the wealthy and affluent people of the country to come forward so that they too would not be deprived of the joy of Eid and could join the festival.
“Peace and harmony will be established in the society only if the teachings of renunciation are reflected in our personal lives,” he said, adding that in order to accept sacrifices from God Almighty, one must have pure intentions and legitimate earnings.
Expressing hope that the government would make efforts to stop environmental pollution by making sacrifices at the designated places and removing the waste of the victims, the President said the holy Eid-ul-Azha should bring welfare to all and awaken the ideal of sacrifice.
