POBNEWS24, Dhaka July 18, 2023 : Independent candidate Ashraful Hossain Alam alias Hero Alam was beaten up while visiting the polling station in Dhaka-17 by-election. After beating this candidate of Ektara Prateek, there were allegations of chasing.
On Monday (July 17) after 3 pm, Banani visited the polling station of Vidyaniketan School and College in the capital. Hero Alam was then taken to Better Life Hospital in Rampura.
Hero Alam complained to the journalists about this and said, ‘I have been visiting many polling stations since morning. Some people attacked me at Banani Vidyaniketan school center after 3 pm.’
