POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Dec 31, 2024 : The High Court has directed law enforcement agencies and other concerned parties to take strict measures to prevent fireworks and firecrackers from being set off on rooftops and buildings, in open spaces, and in parks to prevent accidents on the 31st night.
Meanwhile, DMP Commissioner Sheikh Md. Sajjat Ali said that an additional 3,000 police have been deployed to ensure overall security in the capital on the occasion of the Thirty-First Night in Dhaka.
He said, “Along with the police, there will be magistrates from the Department of Environment. They will run mobile courts anywhere.”
