POBNEWS24,Dhaka Apr 22, 2023 : Holy Eid-ul-Fitr is today Saturday (April 22). Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated across the country today with enthusiasm after fasting for the entire month of Ramadan. Half a million people have already left the capital to share the joy of Eid with their loved ones.
Happiness, joy and love will spread all around. Suji, semai, polao, korma, pies, pithapuli, etc. Greetings will be exchanged after the Eid prayer.
However, on the occasion of Eid celebration, arrangements have been made to serve high-quality food in all hospitals, prisons, government children’s homes, old age homes, Chhotamoni homes, socially handicapped centers, shelters, safe homes, vagrant welfare centers, distressed welfare and drug addiction treatment centers.
Bangladesh embassies and missions abroad will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr appropriately. On this occasion, special measures have been taken to maintain law and order situation in the whole country.
Organized by Dhaka South City Corporation, the main Eid congregation will be held at the National Eidgah next to the capital’s High Court. President Md. Abdul Hamid will offer Eid prayers at the National Eidgah. About 35 thousand worshipers will participate in this Eidgah.
The country’s largest Eid congregation will be held at the historic Sholakia Maidan, a hundred-year tradition. Like every year, five Eid congregations will be held at National Mosque Baitul Mukarram.
According to a press release of the Islamic Foundation, on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, like every year, five Eid congregations will be held at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque. The first congregation will be held at 7 am.
