POBNEWS24, Dhaka , May 6, 2024 : As the heatwave subsides, Dhaka University (DU) will resume physical classes from next Wednesday (May 8).
This information was confirmed in a circular signed by Mahmud Alam, director of the university’s public relations department, on Monday (May 6) afternoon.
It is said in the notification that the classes and examinations of Dhaka University will be held as usual from Wednesday, May 8, as the heat wave going on across the country has reached a bearable level.
University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Maqsood Kamal approved this decision today.
Earlier on April 21, the university administration had announced online classes until further notice to avoid health risks due to the heat wave.
