POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Nov 12, 2021: The success of blended learning (online and offline education) depends on participatory and equitable information technology infrastructure. Therefore, regional and global cooperation is important, said the Minister of Education. Dipu Moni.
The Minister made the remarks while participating as a representative of Bangladesh at the Ministerial Breakfast Meeting on Blended Learning chaired by UNESCO Assistant Director General (Education) Stefania Giannini at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris on Thursday.
In the reality of information technology, we have to go to online education. Dipu Moni said, Kovid-19 has forced us to adapt to this new education system. Bangladesh is working on a framework to strengthen the blended learning system.
The Minister emphasized the importance of preparing teachers and academia for effective blended learning and formulating blended learning and ICT education policy.
