Indian citizen arrested with Phensedyl at Golabari border in Comilla

POBNEWS24, Dhaka Nov 27, 2024 : BGB has arrested an Indian citizen with 100 bottles of Phensedyl during an anti-drug operation in Golabari area of ​​Comilla on the Bangladesh-India border. BGB spokesperson Shariful Islam said that on the morning of November 26, their anti-drug patrol team (Comilla Battalion 10 BGB) arrested Indian citizen Mehedi Hasan (18) with 100 bottles of Phensedyl and 01 mobile phone from a place called Keraninagar, 100 yards inside Bangladesh from Border Pillar 2082/1-S. The arrested person is the son of Md. Swapan Mia of NC Nagar village in Sipahjala district of Tripura, India. A case has been registered in this regard at Comilla Sadar Police Station.
