‘International Rumi Conference’ starts tomorrow

POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Sep 2, 2022 : The International Rumi Conference is going to start tomorrow Saturday with the participation of educators and researchers from seven countries including Bangladesh, India, Iran, Turkey.  

The three-day conference is going to start from Saturday as a joint initiative of Dhaka University’s Persian Language and Literature Department and Allama Rumi Society Bangladesh. The first two days of this three-day conference will be held at Dhaka University and the third day will be held at Chittagong Independent University. The organizers gave this information in a press conference at Dhaka University Journalists Association today at 4 pm.

It was informed in the press conference that the opening of the International Rumi Conference held on September 3-5 will be announced by the Minister of Education of the Government of Bangladesh. Deepu Moni. The concluding session and cultural program of the Dhaka phase of the conference will be held on September 4 at the TSC auditorium.  

In the conference, 24 academicians and researchers from Bangladesh, India, Iran, Turkey, Syria, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan will present their research papers in eight academic sessions at University Senate Hall, RC Majumdar Auditorium, Kalabhaban Syed Ahmadul Haque Seminar Library, Shaheed Mofazzal Haider Chowdhury Faculty of Arts meeting room. .
