POBNEWS24, Dhaka, May 17, 2022 : Due to the decrease in rainfall, the temperature has already started rising in different parts of the country including Dhaka. The situation is likely to continue in the next few days, the Meteorological Department said. Besides, mild heat wave is blowing over Chandpur, Rajshahi, Khulna and Jessore districts and it will continue.
The department said this in its forecast for the next 24 hours on Monday evening.
Meteorologist said. Muhammad Abul Kalam Mallick said, “There may be temporary gusts, gusts of wind, lightning and thundershowers in many parts of Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, some parts of Rajshahi and Chittagong divisions and a couple of places in Dhaka division.
At the same time, there may be moderate to heavy rains in the northern part of the country. Elsewhere in the country, the weather will be mostly dry with partly cloudy skies. ‘
