POBNEWS24, Dhaka Sept 16, 2024 : Today is Monday 12 Rabiul Awal, the holy Eid of Miladunnabi (PBUH). On this day in 570, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), who was sent as a mercy to mankind, was born in the noble Quraish clan of Mecca, Arabia, on the lap of mother Amina.
On the occasion of the holy Eid Miladunnabi (PBUH), Islamic Foundation Bangladesh has undertaken various programs throughout the party. Besides, there is a public holiday on this day.
On this occasion, President Mohammad Sahabuddin and chief advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus gave a separate message.
At one time the entire Arab society was plunged into darkness. They forgot the great creator Allah and indulged in various evil deeds. There was anarchy and disorder everywhere in Arabia. This period was called the Age of Ignorance.
Then people indulged in quarrels and quarrels and worshiped idols. Almighty Allah sent Rasulullah (s.a.w.) to this world to show them the way of light with the liberation of mankind from this dark age.
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) fell in love with Allah at a very young age and often meditated in the cave of Mount Hera. At the age of twenty-five, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) got married to a beautiful woman named Bibi Khadija. He was ordained at the age of 40. Get close to Allah.
The world Muslim community including Bangladesh observes this day as Miladunnabi (PBUH) on the holy Eid. The government, various political parties and organizations have undertaken various programs to celebrate Miladunnabi on the holy Eid with religious solemnity and due dignity. These programs include discussions on the Holy Prophet (PBUH), Milad and Dua Mahfil. On this occasion, a detailed program has been organized by Islamic Foundation.
Arrangements have been made to serve good food in all hospitals, prisons, government children’s homes, old age homes, drug addiction treatment centers in the country on the occasion of Miladunnabi (PBUH) celebration.
On this occasion, Islamic Foundation has organized a party-long program. Programs include Waj, Milad and Dua Mahfil, Seminars, Islamic Cultural Competition, Arabic Khutba Writing Competition, Qirat Mahfil, Hamd-Na’at, Poetry Recitation Mahfil, Islamic Calligraphy Exhibition, Islamic Book Fair, Special Memorabilia and Publications.
On this occasion, various programs have been organized in all divisional and district offices of Islamic Foundation, 54 Islamic missions and 8 Imam training academies.
