POBNEWS24, Dhaka, July 26, 2022 : One kilogram of 16 grams of gold worth about crores of rupees was found in the waste of a Bangladesh Biman flight at the Sylhet Osmani International Airport. Today, Tuesday (July 26) at 8 o’clock in the morning, these golds were found abandoned by scanning the garbage trolley of the flight from Doha, Qatar.
According to airport customs authorities, a total of 10 bars of gold weighing 16 grams per kg were found. The value of which is approximately one crore rupees.
Airport revenue officer Nazzasi Parvez confirmed this information. He said, a criminal case will be filed in this incident.
Najjasi Parvez said, ‘We had information that gold consignment was coming in the plane flight. Customs took a cautious stance. But after the arrival of the flight, the gold was not found. Even though the passengers got out, the officials suspected that the gold was not found. Later the garbage trolley was scanned and 10 gold bars were found. ‘
